January 20, 2014, The Deputy Minister of Justice of RA Aram Orbelyan had an interview with Armenpress on the implementation of electronic notary services in Armenia and informed that the finalization of the system is planned for the end of 2014. The electronic notary system will raise the effectiveness civil rights protection and the satisfaction with the service, as well as will improve the internal management of the notary centers and exclude the cases of document forging and document-related delays. The system implementation will allow to create an environment for the automation of procedures, where all the stages of the required notary actions will be carried out electronically. "The introduction of the electronic notary system will enable the notary to get a variety of documents or information in person via exchange of electronic documents while keeping the applicant aside from the obligation to get additional documents from other bodies," - said Mr. Orbelyan.
