Criminal Law Moot Court Competition with Janna Simonyan in Kotayk region

May 30, 2015, a criminal law moot court competition took place between two five-member teams of high-school students from Yeghvard and Charentsavan in the First Instance Court of city Charencavan, the province of Kotayq. The competition was held in the form of a trial simulation within the framework of hypothetical criminal case proceedings.
The moot court was organized by the National Centre for Legal Research non-governmental organization with the support of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, in partnership with RA Court of Cassation.
Before the competition, Janna Simonyan, Senior lawyer and Partner of Concern-Dialog law firm, trained the students participating in the moot-competition, introducing them to the characteristics of criminal legislation and proceedings.
