Semi-final moot court competition with Janna Simonyan

October 24, 2015, the Court of Appeal of Armenia hosted the semi-final round of the Moot court competition in Armenian regions. Teams from Ararat, Armavir, Kotayq, and Tavush regions, who won in the local rounds, were the competitios. They debated over imaginary criminal cases drafted by «National Center for Legal Researches» NGO experts.
The competition was juried by Mr. Armen Danielyan, judge of Criminal Court of Appeal, Mrs. Ani Danielyan, senior assistant to the chairman of Chamber on Criminal cases of the Court of Cassation of RA, and Mr. Virab Khachatryan, deputy chairman of the National Center for Legal Researches NGO. According to the decision of the panel of judges, the teams of Armavir city high school No. 1 and Artashat city high school won the competition. Artashat team was trained by Janna Simonyan, attorney at law, Senior lawyer and Partner of Concern-Dialog law firm, and NCLR expert. In further stages of the competition, the winner teams will take part in the final round of the competition.
