The Team of Artashat High School Won the Moot Court Competition

November 21, 2015, the Court of Cassation of Armenia hosted the final round of the Moot Court competition in Armenian marzes. Teams from high schools of Armavir and Artashat, who won in the previous rounds, were the competitios. They debated over imaginary criminal cases drafted beforehand. The competition was juried by Mr. Hamlet Asatryan, member of Chamber on Criminal cases of the Court of Cassation of RA, Mrs. Ani Danielyan, senior assistant to the chairman of Chamber on Criminal cases of the Court of Cassation of RA, and Mr. Koryun Tamrazyans, representative of "National Center for Legal Researches" NGO.
According to the decision of the panel of judges, the team of Artashat city high school won the competition. Artashat team was trained by Janna Simonyan, attorney at law, Senior lawyer and Partner of Concern-Dialog law firm, and NCLR expert.
The project «Moot Court competition in Armenian marzes» is organized by National Center for Legal Researches NGO, with the support of the OSCE office in Yerevan and with assistance of RA Judicial Department.
