New study dedicated to New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards

Wolters Kluwer published the study of Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards in Russia and Former USSR States dedicated to the application of the New York Convention in Russia and Former USSR States. The study was published in the version edited by Secretary General of the Russian Arbitration Association Roman Zykov.
Concern Dialog’s Senior Partner Aram Orbelyan and Junior Partner Lilit Karapetyan were authors of the Section of the book referring to Armenia, where they comprehensively presented the procedures for Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards in Armenia in the light of New York Convention, details and main requirements of the procedures related to the Convention. Significant observations werer made on the validity of the Arbitration Agreement in Armenia. In addition, the existing mechanisms of judicial assistance in arbitration proceedings were analysed in detail.
