The managing partner of Concern Dialog law firm, attorney Aram Orbelyan and partner, attorney Artur Hovhannisyan participated and made presentations in the first Armenia-Russia legal forum.

Aram Orbelyan presented the judicial system of the Republic of Armenia, the specificities of administrative justice, and current alternative mechanisms of dispute resolution – mediation and arbitration. He also covered Armenia-Russia agreements on international cooperation and their actual implementation in the Republic of Armenia and existing room for improvement.

Special attention was driven to the actual processes, timelines of court cases, and specificities of processes in different courts. And finally, the high level of development of the judicial system was emphasized despite some worrying developments.

In his speech, Artur Hovhannisyan presented matters related to real estate transactions. Notably, he spoke about the specificities and legal regulations for the lease and purchasing of residential or commercial real estate in Armenia.

The forum took place in Yerevan on 21-22 April and was organized with the support of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia. The forum's objective was to facilitate dialogue between the representatives of the legal and business communities and financial organizations of Russia and Armenia.

The forum is expected to promote future practical cooperation and the development of bilateral collaboration between the Armenia-Russia business community representatives.
