According to Armenian legislation, favorable conditions have been created for foreign investors: Concern Dialog partner Lilit Karapetyan highlighted this in her speech at the recent Investment Arbitration conference

Concern Dialog's partner, attorney Lilit Karapetyan, participated in the ArbMenia conference on investment arbitration last week, serving as both an organizer and a speaker. As the chairman of the Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission of the Armenian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, she presented the commission's initiatives and ongoing efforts to advance the sector on the first day of the event.

On the second day, Lilit Karapetyan discussed the opportunities for foreign investments in Armenia.

Drawing on her extensive experience, she highlighted that Armenia has established favorable conditions for foreign investors. She underscored that the country offers opportunities to become shareholders and directors of companies, with robust protection mechanisms available through bilateral investment treaties and domestic laws. Karapetyan also noted the minimal restrictions, which are limited to specific sectors.

The ArbMenia conference, now in its second year, aims to underscore the significance of investment arbitration in Armenia and the broader region. It brings together industry professionals from various countries. The event was initiated by the Armenian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in collaboration with its Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission.

Concern Dialog, committed to the advancement of arbitration in Armenia, was one of the sponsors of the conference.
