The American University of Armenia (AUA) hosted the Corporate Law Summer School, an initiative jointly organized by Concern Dialog Law Firm and the AUA LL.M. (Master of Laws) Program. Throughout the intensive three-day course, participants had the opportunity to work closely with leading industry experts to analyze and discuss key practical issues in business law and corporate governance.

The curriculum was strategically designed to equip participants with up-to-date, actionable knowledge essential for navigating today's complex business environment. The three-day program focused on several core pillars:

• Fundamentals of Corporate Law: An in-depth exploration of the legal nuances and key differences between LLCs and Joint-Stock Companies, statutory capital structures, as well as the securities custody and registry management system in Armenia.

• Shareholders' Rights & Management: Detailed discussions on the complexities of corporate management participation, primary corporate transactions, investment tools, shareholder and option agreements, and convertible loans.

• Corporate Governance Systems: Insightful analysis of modern corporate governance frameworks, the roles and liabilities of responsible parties, dividend distribution mechanisms, as well as shareholders' pre-emptive rights and legal remedies.
